Talk about Anna who has an old coat, and her mother promised to buy her a new coat after WWII ends. But when WWII ended her mother was not able to buy her a new coat because her mom does not have enough money. Since her mother cannot buy the coat, she is going to make the coat by using wool from a farm. After getting the wool, it ended up that the whole community helps Anna to make the coat. In the end, Anna has visited the sheep and said thank you to the sheep.
I would rate this book four out of four because the story of the book teaches students about sacrifice and caring community. the entire community has come together to make a beautiful coat for Anna. The illustrations are vivid and realistic. This would be a great book to include in the classroom because it teaches students about economics such as goods and services, bartering, natural resources.
