This book describes how pumpkins come in different shapes and sizes, how they grow, and their traditional uses and cultural significance. At the end of the book, the author included instructions for carving a pumpkin and drying the seeds. The book has bright and colorful illustrations because of painted pictures on each page. The information texts are completely accurate and authentic.
I would rate this book four out of four this book has a very high quality of illustration, format, content, organization, and information accuracy. In addition, Gail Gibbin is a famous author with know for her detailed writing and illustration.

I love Gail Gibbons for Informational Text. Teachers can always count on her to have well-researched, engaging, and detailed information to share in her books, and it seems like she has a book on almost any topic you can imagine for kids.
